Home Leone is appealing for help with building supplies to build more homes in Sierra Leone.

Nigel Hyde, of Luton, founder of the charity, is building homes in Freetown to help people in Sierra Leone create a better future for themselves.

He said: “The Destiny Village project aims to develop a community for 2,000 people, providing jobs, education, homes and health facilities.

“If anyone can make a donation towards the funding or plumbing and electrical supplies it would help the project progress.

“Things are developing fast and the first houses are nearly complete. 

“Building on the site has now closed due to three months of rain making it difficult to build.

“We are also looking for business people who would be interested in going to live in Sierra Leone to help of selecting the 2,000 people that will move to the village.

“We are also looking for business people who would be interested in going to live in Sierra Leone to help establish the businesses and help train people.
